Oklahoma 4A Cross Country Final Rankings 2019: Lincoln Christian's Twin Titles

Some years the 4A polls are chaos. 2019 was not one of those years. The final ballots, posted October 14th, had Lincoln Christian on top of both sides — and the state meet turned both predictions into trophies. Boring? Maybe. Correct? Completely.

Girls’ poll, October 14th: Lincoln Christian, Madill, Weatherford, Pauls Valley, Community Christian. State: Lincoln Christian 67, Madill 99. The poll’s 1-2 held in order, 32 points apart.

Boys’ poll, October 14th: Lincoln Christian, Weatherford, Madill, Byng, Community Christian. State: Lincoln Christian 75, Byng 108. The champion was the poll’s No. 1; the runner-up was the poll’s No. 4, which is the closest thing 4A 2019 had to a surprise.

Weatherford’s Jordan Hoffman won the girls’ individual title; Ft. Gibson’s Caden Goss won the boys’ crown.

Lincoln Christian swept 4A — the poll saw it coming from a mile away, and for once the mile cooperated.
